‘That’s A Long Tongue…’ Miley Cyrus With Her “12 Inch” Tongue!

There aren’t many pictures of Miley Cyrus in her rocky rebellion phase when she wasn’t wagging her pointy tongue.

But James Corden hilariously found a use for her famous habit during the musician’s suitably wacky Carpool Karaoke stint, asking her to lick a few of his postage stamps.

Besides showing off her flawless vocal talents, the 24-year-old shows The Late Late Show host how long her tongue is in the humorous preview clip, ahead of Wednesday’s show.

‘Your tongue makes less of an appearance today, than it used to,’ James enquires, before the blonde proudly sticks it out through striking red lips.

‘That is a long tongue…’ he exclaims, before suggesting: ‘Keep it there,’ and pulling out a menial postage task for her to assist with.

The former child star then breaks into her famous hit Party In The USA, complete with harmonic melodies.

Now showing off a more demure look, the singer is dressed in a pearl top with a cute Troll badge.

Following her teen rebellion phase, in which the popstar was regularly seen waggling her tongue, she explained her crazy habit in a string of interviews.

To Teen Vogue, she once said: ‘I get embarrassed to take pictures. I don’t know what else to do in front of the cameras. And now, people always go, “Do the tongue thing!”’

Further explaining it, she told Billboard in May: ‘I was so ­embarrassed to be on the red carpet. So many people would tell me to blow a kiss, and that’s not me!

‘I don’t want to blow you a kiss. I didn’t know what to do with my face, so I stuck my tongue out, and it became a rebellious, punk-rock thing.’

And hinting at why it’s been absent of late, she went on: ‘I don’t do red carpets, and I just don’t put myself in positions where I feel uncomfortable anymore. I don’t have to.’

Singing dad Billy Ray’s famous 1992 hit Achy Breaky Heart, Miley joined Noah, Brandi, Trace and Braison, complete with wig mullets.
