Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been criticized for “resting on their laurels” as recent information about them shows signs of being “boring and uninteresting”

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex were criticised by a royal commentator over being “immersed in their own narrative”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have been branded “tone deaf” by a royal commentator over their declining popularity as the couple are “immersed in their own narrative”.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex have garnered attention following Harry’s controversial reception of the prestigious Pat Tillman Award for Service at the ESPYs last Thursday.

Joined by his wife, he delivered an emotional speech honoring his late mother, the Princess of Wales.

Harry spoke about the unbreakable bond between a mother and son, emphasizing that it surpasses even the most profound losses.

He also acknowledged the Tillman family, particularly Mrs. Mary Tillman, Pat’s mother, despite her earlier expressed disapproval of his receiving the award.

Now Vanity Fair’s royal correspondent Katie Nicholl said that while the duke played the part of his speech focusing on the Invictus Games during the glitzy awards “well”, the Sussex couple have a tendency to be “slightly tone deaf” when it comes to the people’s perception of them.

Asked about whether the Montecito couple understands whether they’re controversial figures on Kinsey Schofield’s Heirs and Spares programme, Ms Nicholl said: “I think they probably are so immersed in their own narrative that they find it quite hard to understand why people take a pop at them.

“They probably find it so hard to understand why they are do divisive. I do think that sometimes they have the tendency to come over as being slightly tone deaf”.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have once again found themselves under scrutiny by royal commentators for being out of touch with public perception. The couple, who recently made headlines for Harry’s emotional speech at the ESPYs, are facing criticism for being “immersed in their own narrative” and failing to grasp their controversial status.Despite the positive reception of Harry’s speech honoring his late mother, Princess Diana, and the Tillman family at the awards ceremony, royal correspondent Katie Nicholl of Vanity Fair believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex are missing the mark when it comes to how they are perceived by the public. Nicholl suggested that the couple’s tendency to focus on their own narrative may be causing them to be tone-deaf to the criticisms and controversies surrounding them. The criticism comes at a time when the Sussexes are already facing declining popularity and increased scrutiny. The couple, who now reside in Montecito, have been met with backlash for various decisions and actions, from their Netflix and Spotify deals to their statements on social and political issues. Despite their efforts to connect with the public through philanthropic work and public appearances, it seems that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle are struggling to navigate their roles as public figures. As they continue to face backlash and criticism, it remains to be seen how the Duke and Duchess of Sussex will adapt and respond to the challenges ahead. Will they make changes to their approach and narrative to address public perception, or will they continue to be criticized for being out of touch with reality? Only time will tell. Stay tuned for more updates on this ongoing saga.
