Jake Paul is one of the most polarizing figures in the world right now, and it doesn’t seem like it will change anytime soon. His upcoming fight against Mike Tyson is slated to become the biggest fight in boxing history.

Unfortunately, the much-anticipated bout was put into limbo earlier this week after his team confirmed reports of Tyson having an ulcer flare-up. After consulting with doctors, the fight was forced to be rescheduled for a later date.

According to Jake’s boxing promotion company, Most Valuable Promotions, a new date for the fight will be revealed on Friday, June 7th. The fight will still happen; however, Jake has his backup plan for if the fight happens to fall through.

Everyone who follows influencer boxing wants to see one fight, and only one fight, happen. The anticipation of KSI and Jake Paul’s fight has been building up for years, but it still has yet to happen; however, according to Jake, it may be possible that it gets done sooner rather than later.

Could Jake Paul VS KSI Finally Happen?

The turmoil has been brewing since 2019 when Jake’s brother and current WWE Superstar Logan Paul fought British YouTuber KSI in a sequel to a much-debated 2018 draw. The two fought for six rounds before a sold-out Crypto.com Arena, where Paul lost by split decision.

This was reportedly the start of Jake’s boxing journey. He would fight British YouTuber AnEsonGib and win by first-round knockout before going on to win his next seven pro bouts. KSI would not return to the ring until 2022 and would go undefeated until October 14th, 2023, when he lost to Tommy Fury, Jake’s only loss this far.

Since KSI’s loss to Tommy Fury, anticipation for a bout against the influence-turned-pro-boxer has reportedly been the closest to becoming an actuality than ever. Still, every time they’ve gotten close, one side has said no for one reason or another.

While we still don’t know if we will ever see the most anticipated fight in influencer boxing, fans are still holding on to hope that it will happen one day. KSI is slated to return to the ring later this year for the first time since the aforementioned loss to Tommy Fury.

Mike Tyson Suffers Scary In-Flight Medical Emergency Ahead Of His Fight With Jake Paul

Mike Tyson suffered a medical scare during a flight this weekend, and his fight with Jake Paul is thought to be in doubt.

The former World Champion was flying from Miami to Los Angeles on Saturday when he began feeling sick. An ulcer flare-up had him in so much pain, the airline staff had to call for any medical professionals on the flight to help.

According to InTouch, paramedics boarded the plane when it landed at LAX and treated Tyson on the spot.

“He became nauseous and dizzy due to an ulcer flare-up 30 minutes before landing,” one of his reps told TMZ Sports. “He is appreciative to the medical staff that were there to help him.”
