The massive home appears to have abandoned by the sports professional in a hurry, and posh designer gear and expensive shoes have been left as well as two expensive cars in the garage

A mansion worth the equivalent of £8million that used to belong to a pro basketball player in the United States has been left abandoned – along with loads of expensive clothes, two cars and even a gun.

The amazing story has been documented by the team behind YouTube channel Urbax Vibes, who visited the $10 mansion and explored its numerous rooms.

Intrepid explorers Zek and Mae kept their voices down while they were inside, suggesting they knew there was a tiny chance someone could come back. But the mansion was well and truly deserted.

The strangest thing about the tour of the building was how it veered from being an empty shell to being full of its former occupants’ belongings.

At one moment it appeared as though no one had ever even moved in, and in the next room, the pair found loads of clothes, shoes and jewellery.

Some of the rooms were in pristine condition but others looked as though they’d been the scene of a fight – or of interest from some wildlife, at least.

Zek and Mae kept the NBA star’s identity secret, and there was no clue given as to why he’d left. When they found his name branded on some footwear that had been custom-made for him, the duo blurred the footage so it couldn’t be read.

The massive estate is 18,000 square feet, and the property – which has marble floors – has 10 bedrooms and 10 bathrooms.

Some of the wardrobes were stuffed full of designer clothes, both men’s and women’s, and a lot of them still had their tags on.

In a couple of the rooms were Christmas trees, suggesting the occupants left just before or just after the big day.

Some of the belongings that had been left behind looked as though they’d been ransacked, but other rooms had things left neat and tidy.

The state of the garden suggested the owners left some time ago, and a fox was spotted in the garden near the basketball court.

What appeared to be the master bedroom had stuff all over the floor, but the telly was still in place in the massive room, suggesting the mess might not have been caused by burglars.

But the most shocking find came when Zek found a BB gun just lying around downstairs.

In the four-car garage, two cars had been left behind. A Volkswagen was parked with one of its windows down while next to it was a Merc with a trendy blue interior.

As they got to the end of their remarkable look around the property, Mae said: “We’re all done exploring this crazy millionaire’s mansion. I can’t believe the type of stuff that we’ve got in here.”

Zek added: “This is just weird, like how clean it is but then it’s not clean, and then it’s full of stuff – it’s just weird.”
