Even NFL sideline reporters can have too much fun during their off-season. It isn’t only the players with notable names who make headlines for doing some not-so-PG things, but former NFL sideline reporter Holly Sonders is finding this out the hard way.

Sonders and her boyfriend, former professional boxer Oscar De La Hoya, currently a promoter for boxers like Ryan Garcia, recently uploaded a video to social media that has caused controversy.

In the video, De La Hoya and Sonders can dance in little to no clothing, leaving little to the imagination. After the post went viral, Instagram took it down, causing the former sideline reporter to “cover up” in her next post.

The new post may have been a little more pleasing to the followers after she wore more clothes and called out the social media platform for taking down all her “content that isn’t covered head to toe.” She also made sure to tell the “salty ones” that she’ll be back

Reactions mainly favored the couple. Some fans commented praising Sonders for her “redemption post,” while one fan quoted Taylor Swift’s lyrics, “Haters gonna hate hate hate hate,” while another stated, “They can’t handle it.”

Other fans joked about De La Hoya’s thong, commenting, “We all know Oscar was wearing that thong that whole night” and “You’ve got some great moves in your leopard skivvies.”

Fans now have to sit and wait as Sonders claims she’s planning on posting more like the original video after the backlash. The couple are heading on vacation to Mexico, so Instagram may not like what the couple has in store for them next.
