Reese had some words of encouragement for Sha’Carri Richardson ahead of the 100m final.

The eyes of the United States Track and Field World were on Sha’Carri Richardson on Saturday afternoon, as the Team USA phenom lined up in the 100-meter final at the 2024 Paris Olympics, looking for her first Olympic medal.

Richardson, who has the fastest time in the world coming into this Olympics with 10.71, is considered a favorite in the race despite a loaded field.

As she prepared for the biggest race of her life, fellow star Angel Reese sent some words of encouragement to her friend from back home.

Chicago Sky star Angel Reese tweeted out her support, telling Richardson to “kill them!”

Richardson qualified for the final earlier on the morning with a time of 10.89 in her heat of the semi-finals, which were overshadowed by the surprising scratch from three-time gold medalist Shelly-Anne Fraser-Pryce, from Jamaica.

There is now doubt that all eyes from the USA will be on Richardson as she gets set for her potential first Olympic medal on Saturday afternoon.
