Roger Federer’s documentary titled “Federer: Twelve Final Days” is a gift that keeps on giving. Ever since it dropped on Prime Video, the 90-minute long film about the tennis icon’s retirement has been a source of plenty of incredible stories.

Now, one moment from the documentary that involves Federer and long-time rival and good friend Rafael Nadal is going viral.

In the said scene, apparently taken after Federer and Nadal lost in their doubles match against Frances Tiafoe and Jack Sock in the 2022 Laver Cup, Federer was seen consoling a crying Nadal in the locker room.

Sure enough, the candid moment between the two fierce competitors quickly broke the internet, with many loving the interaction between the two.

“Nadal is such a pure soul!!!” a fan commented. Another one said, “Such a fabulous documentary and so moving. I [loved] and [cried] in equal measure!”

In the same documentary, Federer talked about his relationship with Nadal and called it “very unique.” From the video above, fans can certainly see why Federer said that.
