Travis Kelce and Patrick Mahomes‘ lives were almost in danger at the Morgan Wallen show in Missouri as a man was arrested for making a “terroristic threat” to two members of the Kansas City Chiefs‘ organization.

Jackson County Prosecutor’s Office said that Aaron Brown, of Winchester, made the threat online prior to the show which Mahomes and Kelce attended as they walked out on stage with the controversial country musician.

It’s currently unconfirmed by local law enforcement of which two members were targeted at the gig at the Arrowhead Stadium, but considering their presence it would not be unlikely for it to be the famous tight end and quarterback duo.

A threat was made from an X.com, formerly Twitter account, that read: “Mr. [redacted] at Arrowhead with the wife.

“If he brings out [redacted] or [redacted] I’ll take the f**kin shot. F**k em! Also, f**k you bitch!! (hand emoji with middle finger up twice) @[redacted].”

Brown was tracked down by the police through his account details and cellphone, who then arrested him within the stadium after he voluntarily admitted to being there to watch the show with his girlfriend, highlighting the importance of verification features.

The threat, which delayed the start of the show by 40 minutes, “was a stupid, stupid, stupid mistake,” according to Brown, who has been charged with terrorist threat in the second degree and bail set at $15,000.

Who was targeted?

The aggressive tweet could be targeted at Mahomes and his wife, Brittany, who was at the concert whilst she carries her third child, but it could also be connected to Kelce’s own relationship too.

Kelce has been dating Taylor Swift since August 2023 and despite the singer’s popularity, she has a lot of haters too which could make her more likely to be the ire of someone’s displeasure of her music or influence.
