Oasis fans have shared the same worry over tomorrow morning’s announcement, fearing it won’t be a reunion

Oasis fans have one huge concern ahead of tomorrow’s (27 August) announcement – and they could be right.

It looks like over 15 years on, it finally might be happening, as Oasis have been rumoured to be getting back together over the weekend.

Sceptics were quick to dismiss the claims as another ‘boy who cried wolf’ situation, but the band’s official social media accounts later posted a 10-second teaser video saying ‘27.08.24’, flicking on to say ‘8am’.

That’s right, Liam and Noel Gallagher might finally have put their feud to bed and are giving the country what they want: An Oasis tour.

The brothers also posted the teaser video on their socials, so it might finally be coming to fruition.

As well as this, the teaser was shown at the end of a Blossoms gig last night (25 August), with millions set to be waiting on their timelines tomorrow morning with bated breath, hoping there’s some concrete information for us.

Potential prices of tickets have also being reported, as they are set to be over £100 and likely almost impossible to get.

The band have been rumoured to be playing 10 shows at Wembley, beating Taylor Swift’s record of eight, as well as a number of gigs at Manchester’s Heaton Park.

It’s been a long time coming, with fans of the band desperate for a comeback of the iconic ’90s duo, along with the rest of the band.

However, longtime fans have been cautious of the news, not getting too excited yet as many have been here before.

Apparently, there’s a worry that the announcement might be of unreleased recordings of their debut album, Definitely Maybe, instead of a reunion, as fans have taken to X to voice their concerns.

One user claimed: “They’re releasing a new album of secret Definitely Maybe recordings on Tue at 8am and continue to refuse to talk to each other”

Another wrote: “Definitely Maybe’s lost recordings is already announced for release on Friday.”

A third commented: “All 3… I am gonna be realistic though. The thirtieth anniversary of Definitely Maybe is coming up and they are gonna release essentially a full album of demo recordings never heard before in regard to the debut album. Either way, VERY cool stuff!!!”

Oasis have been separated since 2009 following a backstage spat between Noel and Liam at the Rock en Seine festival in Paris.

The band had been due to perform at set but the crowd was told that the show would not be going on, and shortly afterwards a statement from Noel was released.

He’d said: “It is with some sadness and great relief… I quit Oasis tonight.

“People will write and say what they like, but I simply could not go on working with Liam a day longer.”

Though the brothers have pursued their own music careers, fans have been longing to see them bury the hatchet and get the band back together, but I guess we’ll know for sure by tomorrow morning.
