Britain’s Got Talent viewers slammed Magicians Assembles’s ‘terrible’ act during Wednesday night’s live semi-final performance.

After stunning fans last week with their audition, the act divided the nation as some claimed their performance was ‘the biggest fix on the show’.

The magic group is made up of three former BGT contestants: Ben Hart, Colin Cloud, and Elizabeth The Haunting.

During their performance, they asked a young girl in the audience to cooperate in a levitating trick.

But ‘bored’ viewers claimed they spotted exactly how the magicians carried out the trick after hearing ‘squeaking’ as she lifted up and down – alluding she was attached to something.

After stunning fans last week with their audition, the act divided the nation as some claimed their performance was ‘the biggest fix on the show’

Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, disappointing fans wrote: ‘It was terrible..even saw him tell her not to get up until he took the blanket off; compared to yesterdays magician it was terrible’

‘Not sure how I feel about the magicians assemble. They are very good at what they do but it all just felt a little bit… flat?’

‘Magicians Assemble?!?!? …….at the exit please and maybe come back next year with an act that doesn’t put people to sleep!’

‘Anyone else hear weird background talking during Magicians Assemble? And weird squeaking during the levitation?’

Last week, the magician act ended the show on a huge cliffhanger before the semi-finals, as Simon Cowell dramatically disappeared from the stage at the hands of three returning magicians.

Fans of the ITV reality talent show were left dumbfounded when the ‘utterly unbelievable’ Magicians Assemble appeared to make the head judge, 64, vanish.

Magicians Assemble told the audience they came from the future and eerily finished each other’s sentences.

The trio then told the judges and audience that they ‘found a journal’ which will allow them to enter ‘someone’s memory’.

They performed tricks such as turning liquid into sand before falling into, but saved their most dramatic trick for the very end.

The judges were then asked to choose cards, selecting a page from a book and rolling dice to find a series of numbers.

Aidan shaved Ben’s hair off and the number which was revealed on his scalp was the same as the one the judges had picked before.

Then, Colin invited Simon on stage, reassuring him he was ‘completely safe’ as he blindfolded him.

Suddenly Ben then threw an hourglass to the ground, smashing it. Lights flashed and Simon was gone – and confetti lay where he once stood.

Amanda Holden asked: ‘Where is Simon?’ and the question was scarily repeated by Simon voice’s in a teaser for Sunday’s episode.

Fans on X, formerly Twitter, also demanded to know Simon’s whereabouts, and went onto praise the magicians for their audition.
