Move over, Joy Behar and Whoopi Goldberg. It looks like The View has a new comedian in town.

Alyssa Farah Griffin Shades Joy Behar On 'The View' When She Says She Was “Never Told To Shut Up” As A Kid: “It Shows” | Decider

On this morning’s episode of the long-running daytime talk show, Alyssa Farah Griffin wasted no time shading Behar after she revealed she was “never told to shut up” when she was a kid.

The hilarious moment happened during the final Hot Topic segment of the episode, in which the ladies discussed whether they think people become less gracious and less diplomatic as they age.

“I was never told to shut up when I was a kid. No one said, ‘Joy, be quiet,’” Behar said, before Griffin quipped, “And it shows.”

The former White House staffer quickly added that she was “kidding,” though Sara Haines seemed to be the only other co-host who caught her subtle dig as she broke out into hysterics. Behar, on the other hand, didn’t acknowledge Griffin’s remark and instead kept speaking.

“So I’m the same,” she continued. “My edit button is iffy. It’s very iffy.”

Goldberg also denied that she’s gotten “less gracious” as she’s gotten older, noting that like Behar, she’s “always” been the same way.

“I don’t think about it. I do what I do and, you know, it hits the fan or doesn’t hit the fan,” she said. “I have no patience to care what other people think of me. I don’t. I can’t.”

Behar then blamed their lack of care for what others think about them on their comedic careers.

“The both of us are comedians. We both started and we still are. To some extent, I still am,” she said. “But that is what comedians do. We say what people are thinking and make it funny, hopefully.”
