Fans will most definitely get to see Luffy escape from Egghead, where he is fighting with all his strength and attempting to escape. The Five Elders are currently on Egghead as well, and their goal of eliminating Vegapunk has been met. However, their other goal of stopping Luffy is certainly not going to be met. Now that the arc is going to wrap up, Dragon is most likely to hold his position. However, that certainly does not mean that he won’t have a role to play in the future.

For instance, when Sabo and the Revolutionary Army Commanders went to Marijoa, they declared war on the Celestial Dragons.

All around the world, the Revolutionaries are attacking Government cargo ships, cutting off vital supply lines to Marijoa!

The war has already kicked off, and, even though it might not look like it, the Revolutionaries are already fighting. They have put Marijoa under siege, which means that no food is actually getting there. This essentially implies that the forces of the World Government have absolutely no other way to counter this threat but to fight them. This means that the World Government will most likely deploy the Marines as well as their strongest fighting force, the God’s Knights, very soon, and that is going to be incredibly exciting for the fans to witness.

This is going to be an absolutely massive war, however, the beginning stages of this war might not be all that great. The Straw Hat Pirates will not have much to do with this war for now. Their goal is to head to Elbaf, and there, they will find out whatever they can pertaining to the secrets of the world, and at the same time, the last Road Poneglyph. Meanwhile, Dragon will have already started his war against the Government, and this war is going to be a long one.

As expected, they’re not a foe who will just take all this lying down. Our real war begins when they mobilize the God’s Knights.

In fact, it is entirely possible that while this war is going on, fans will get to see Luffy become the Pirate King and then later on, take part in it to help out the Revolutionary Army and deliver a solid victory. This could be the beginning of a Giant War, however, fans should not expect an extended war to kickstart here. This war is going to consist of many battles. Readers will likely get to see one of the battles after the events of Egghead. Then, the Revolutionaries might recuperate and move bases, which will then ensue another battle for the future, and that is likely how things are going to play out from here on.
