Former NBA star Tony Snell, who last played for the New Orleans Pelicans in 2022, is still hopeful for a return to the league. Despite an unexpected end to his NBA career, Snell remains determined to make a comeback, driven by a personal and pressing reason.

In a recent interview with Geoff Grammer of the Albuquerque Journal, Snell revealed his motivation for seeking another opportunity in the NBA.

“I didn’t make it this far to make it (just) this far,” Snell said.

Snell’s desire to return to the NBA is not just about adding another season to his career but also securing essential healthcare benefits for his family.
