WNBA Angel Reese and Caitlin Clark

End of streak for player Angel Reese, who was on 15 double-doubles in a row in the WNBA until this Saturday evening.

She had the opportunity to continue, but her behavior on the court is controversial. And it is understandable.

While the NBA is on hiatus, the WNBA is taking advantage of the opportunity to put on a show.

The Liberty hopes to win the title this season while Caitlin Clark shines with the Fever, she who could be crowned rookie of the year at the end of this campaign.

She is in a duel with Angel Reese, who may have just lost precious votes this Saturday with her behavior on the court.

Angel Reese criticized for her attitude

Her team first lost with a final score of 81-67 against the Liberty. It’s hard to win against the New York franchise, but it’s Reese’s attitude that made the buzz on the networks and certainly not for good reasons.

Close to continuing her streak with a 16th double-double, she was ready to do anything to score in the last seconds of a game already lost.

Reese already had 16 rebounds and 8 points. She needed a simple basket to continue her streak, but 4 Liberty players decided otherwise, while her teammates let the clock run down in the process, frustrating Reese.

The Sky player had the opportunity to get her double-double before, like her 3/13 shooting.

Clearly more concerned with continuing her streak than her team, Reese is now being criticized for her attitude.

Even her record is being questioned, as the center often engages in what is known as “stat-pad”—a way to inflate her stats quickly, such as missing a shot on purpose to grab an offensive rebound in the process.

So Liberty sent a message, which was very well received.

First of all, I love what Liberty did. They know what Angel Reese is doing is disgraceful. Secondly, how embarrassing this is of Angel Reese.

She doesn’t care about her team or the end result. She’s only concerned about herself and only herself. She’s a disgrace to the sport.

Record or not, Angel Reese’s style of play will quickly be called into question when we see the content of his performances. Worrying about his personal stats rather than victories is quite frowned upon.
