Peyton Manning Shocks Everyone With His List Of The Top 5 Quarterbacks In The NFL Right Now

Former NFL quarterback Peyton Manning revealed a fascinating list of his top five quarterbacks in the NFL right now.
Speaking at the Fanatics Fest in New York City on Sunday, Peyton Manning was asked by ESPN’s Stephen A. Smith during a Q&A to list his top five quarterbacks in the NFL.
The five-time league MVP went with Patrick Mahomes (Kansas City Chiefs), Joe Burrow (Cincinnati Bengals), Justin Herbert (Los Angeles Chargers), Lamar Jackson (Baltimore Ravens) and Josh Allen (Buffalo Bills).
Football fans had plenty of interesting reactions to Peyton Manning’s top five list:
On Friday, Smith asked Tom Brady at Fanatics Fest to name his top five signal-callers. Brady also had Mahomes, Burrow, Jackson and Allen in his top four but didn’t list a fifth, prompting Smith to throw in Aaron Rodgers’ name.
Mahomes has certainly set himself apart from every other quarterback with his three Super Bowl rings and MVPs and all-world play. Allen, Burrow and Jackson all have compelling cases as the No. 2 QB, and Herbert certainly belongs in the discussion if you focus on individual talent and statistics over team success.
Manning played in the NFL from 1998 to 2015, taking both the Indianapolis Colts and Denver Broncos to two Super Bowls. He won a Lombardi Trophy with each team and walked away as the all-time leader in passing yards and passing touchdowns, though Tom Brady and Drew Brees have both surpassed him.
Peyton Manning Gets To Analyze His Top 5 QBs On MNF
Peyton and younger brother Eli Manning are gearing up for the fourth season of the popular “Manningcast” program that airs on ESPN2 and ESPN+ during “Monday Night Football”. The Chiefs, Bills, Bengals and Ravens all appear on MNF twice this season, so Peyton will get plenty of opportunities to analyze his top five QBs on live television.
The first MNF game of 2024 will run on Sept. 9, with Aaron Rodgers’ New York Jets visiting the San Francisco 49ers at Levi’s Stadium.
