On Juneteenth, the famous American rapper Kendrick Lamar held his highly anticipated ‘Pop Out’ concert in Los Angeles. Lamar, known for his captivating performances, was delivering his hit “Not Like Us!”. At that time, Westbrook and DeRozan made a surprise appearance on stage.

The concert, one of the year’s most anticipated events, attracted a large crowd.  Westbrook and DeRozan took the opportunity to enjoy the moment and share the stage with Lamar.

In addition to Westbrook and DeRozan, other NBA players were also spotted enjoying the concert. NBA legends LeBron James, Kendrick Perkins, Coby White, and Dalen Terry were among those in attendance.

Russell Westbrook and DeMar DeRozan Headline 2024 NBA Free Agency

Russell Westbrook might explore free agency this offseason, as a report suggested his intention to depart from the Clippers. He has a player option for the upcoming season valued at $4 million, following a modest two-year $7.87 million contract signed at the beginning of last season.

Reports indicate that the Miami Heat are leading the race to sign former MVP Russell Westbrook in free agency. Last season, Westbrook posted averages of 11.1 points, 5.0 rebounds, and 4.5 assists while shooting 45.4% from the field.

Similarly, DeMar DeRozan is poised to enter free agency with the chance to join any team. DeRozan has not ruled out a potential return to Los Angeles with the Lakers or the Clippers. As the Chicago Bulls are anticipated to undergo a rebuild, there’s a possibility of seeing DeRozan in an LA uniform by the end of the next season. He averaged 24.0 points, 4.3 rebounds, 5.3 assists, and 1.1 steals per game last season.
