LeBron James had a long-standing dream to share the court with his son, Bronny James, and Bronny’s draft paved the way for LeBron’s dream. Bronny has yet to play alongside his father on the NBA court. While all the NBA fans are eager to see the father-son duo’s on-court chemistry, the younger James is looking for another thing.

With Bronny James, the Los Angeles Lakers won 87-86 against the Atlanta Hawks. Following the win, a reporter asked Bronny about his mindset for playing alongside his father in the upcoming season.

“What are you looking forward to the most about playing with LeBron?” the reporter asked.

“Going against each other in practice” Bronny replied.

LeBron is now in France to represent his country with Team USA in the Paris Olympics. After failing to prove his worth in the Lakers’ first three games, his son silenced the critics with a stunning comeback against the Hawks.

Bronny James Shines in the Lakers Win Against Hawks

Amidst criticism for his previous performances in the Summer League, Bronny James delivered his best performance, finishing the game with 12 points, a rebound, and a steal.

Among his 12 points, nine came in the first half. The 19-year-old also added 5-of-11 from the field and 2-of-5 from three. It was the Lakers’ first win this summer. Nevertheless, Atlanta’s top pick, No. 1 overall, Zaccharie Risacher, didn’t play, which helped the Lakers to grab the win.

In now five games this month – three with the Lakers, two at the California Classic in San Francisco – the Bronny is averaging 5.8 points, 3.2 rebounds, 1.2 assists, and 1.2 steals per game on 29% shooting.
