In a recent report by Matt Moore of Action Network, it was stated that the Philadelphia 76ers are interested in obtaining Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges. Moore also mentioned that rumors of the 76ers’ interest in adding Paul George to the roster have gained traction following George’s appearance on ESPN’s pre-game show with Joel Embiid. Furthermore, Philadelphia is also monitoring the possibility of acquiring the Miami Heat’s star player, Jimmy Butler.

“The Sixers have managed to basically wipe the slate outside of Joel Embiid and Tyrese Maxey. They’ve been linked to George for months, with speculation only increasing after George appeared on ESPN’s pre-game show with Embiid. So, George and Butler are the two high-profile names. The Sixers are also expected to have interest in Charlotte Hornets forward Miles Bridges.” Moore wrote.

Bridges has delivered outstanding performances for the Hornets this season. According to ESPN, in 71 games during the current season, the 26-year-old Hornets player averaged 21.0 points, 7.3 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.3 three-pointers, and 0.9 steals in 37.5 minutes.

The Philadelphia 76ers’ Playoff Loss Ignites Roster Shake-Up

After winning their 18th NBA title in the NBA finals against the Dallas Mavericks, the Boston Celtics, along with other teams, have started preparing for the next season. The 76ers are looking to make changes to their roster to achieve better results next year. Following their early elimination from the first round of the Eastern Conference playoffs against the New York Knicks, adding Butler and George to the roster could be an excellent move for the 76ers.

In addition to the speculation that the 76ers are interested in Bridges, another rumor started when a photo of team officials went viral on the internet. The picture showed LeBron James, Josh Harris, Daryl Morey, and Nick Nurse at Sky High in Philly, sparking rumors about James leaving the Los Angeles Lakers.
