Recently, Scott wore a new color of the shoe, which seemed to bring luck to the Celtics as they dominated the Mavericks.
In a standout performance, Jrue Holiday, the Celtics guard, scored an impressive 26 points, along with three assists and 11 rebounds. Jaylen Brown, the MVP of the Eastern Conference Finals series, contributed 21 points, seven assists, and four rebounds. Jayson Tatum, the star player of the team, added 18 points, 12 assists, and nine rebounds during his 45 minutes of play.
Dallas will need to dominate the next game, which is scheduled for Wednesday at the American Airlines Center, to alleviate the pressure that will be felt if they don’t win. Kyrie Irving, the Dallas guard, also excited Mavericks fans with a hand gesture after game 2.
