In a recent interview on Vlad TV, former NBA player Gilbert Arenas discussed the ongoing feud between D’Angelo Russell and Nick Young. Russell’s widely publicized “snitching” incident caused a fallout, leading to the split between Young and rapper Iggy Azalea.

“When you break it down like that, it all comes back to perspective. You’re looking at the whole picture, right? And I don’t know. Maybe it’s because we usually just focus on what’s in front of us. What’s in front of us is, ‘He snitched on me. F**k that. What happened? This happened, that happened, and this is where we are now. If you’re mad about this part, then you have to erase all of that. A lot of people don’t look at life that way.” Arenas said.

When Russell and Young became Lakers teammates in 2016, their animosity began. Russell secretly recorded a conversation between himself and Young, during which Young admitted to having an affair with another girl despite having a girlfriend, Iggy Azalea, a well-known rapper. The video quickly spread on social media, significantly damaging Young’s reputation. Following the video’s release, Young and Azalea ended their relationship. Since then, Russell and Young have not moved on from the incident, and they continue to argue whenever the opportunity presents itself.

Russell’s performance last season was not impressive, as he did not contribute much to the Lakers. The team was eliminated in the first round of the playoffs against the Denver Nuggets. However, the Lakers are looking to trade Russell to add a big superstar to the roster and improve performance for the next season.
