LeBron James' Agent Rich Paul Opens Up On Whether There's A Possibility The Lakers Star Could Move To Another Western Conference Side Amid Widespread RumorsRich Paul & LeBron James (Photo by Getty Images)
It’s rumored that LeBron James could sign for the Phoenix Suns this offseason as the Western Conference team could be gearing up to draft his son, Bronny James.

LeBron has made no secret of wanting to play on the same team as his son, and the Los Angeles Lakers are reportedly considering drafting him, too.

Reports of the former USC guard rejecting visit offers from several other teams to prioritize workouts with the Lakers and Suns have also sparked speculation that the NBA’s all-time leading scorer could possibly move to Phoenix should they make the younger James their pick.

However, LBJ’s agent and close friend, Rich Paul, has declared that the four-time MVP’s future is not contingent on where his son ends up.

“The Lakers can draft Bronny, and LeBron doesn’t re-sign. LeBron is also not going to Phoenix for a minimum deal. We can squash that now,” Paul told ESPN’s Jonathan Givony this week.

Paul also confirmed that Bronny has only worked out for the aforementioned teams.

LeBron James Isn’t About To Take Less Money Just To Play With His Son

It appears that LeBron, even at 39, is not keen on accepting a minimum deal. It’s also possible that he leaves the Lakers to go play somewhere else, not necessarily Phoenix.

It will be a very interesting summer for the NBA as LeBron remains the face of the league, and the decision on where next he plays could be seismic.

Given his age, his upcoming free agency decision could be the last of his lengthy career.

But it does appear that he might only end up playing with Bronny if the Lakers draft him.
