Fans recently expressed concern for Channing after he shared several bizarre selfies online

CHANNING Tatum has been slammed for his wasteful laundry habit in what critics have called a failed attempt to seem relatable.

The Don’t Blink star opened up about his deep hate for doing laundry during a recently released GQ 10 Essentials video.

A plain white T-shirt was the ninth “thing” Channing, 44, confessed he couldn’t live without during the video.

While speaking on his love of the wardrobe staple, Hanes being his favorite brand, the Deadpool & Wolverine actor admitted he once purchased brand-new T-shirts for an entire year to save himself from doing a load of laundry.

“I hate doing laundry. Like, I hate it more than I can possibly say,” Channing told the outlet, adding, “I had one year that I called ‘the year of the fresh white T,’ and I don’t think I did laundry all year that year and I just wore white T-shirts that I just bought.”

He continued, “I’d [look at a shirt and] be like, ‘I can get like two wears out of this a week. This is gonna be good.’ The year of the fresh white T — ’99 or 2000. It’s a beautiful year.”

Fans criticized the Magic Mike star’s wastefulness in a Reddit post titled, “Channing Tatum admits he once bought new shirts for an entire year to avoid doing laundry.”

In the comment thread, one person wrote, “Sometimes celebrities tell us these stories without realizing how out of touch they sound.

“Channing you are a very rich man but that is very wasteful and you could have just hired a housekeeper to do your laundry,” they scolded.

“This, they could’ve washed the laundry…pressed it, folded it and put it on a hanger or a drawer for him to choose from. Comes off wasteful and stupid,” added another.

“They think they’re being relatable and it just comes off as super out of touch with reality,” agreed a third.

“Man they really need to just think before they admit this s**t. By they I mean rich people. F**king wasteful and appalling,” remarked a fourth.

One fan asked, “So just fresh T’s? What about undies and jeans? Was everything else he wore just dirty?”

“Either way, I’m repulsed by the wastefulness. Channing seems determined to burn through his goodwill, at least from what I’ve seen of him lately,” added a second.

“I can’t believe people are this lazy,” mentioned another.

A fourth argued, “The dates he gave are pre-fame.

“He’s a bro from the South. I’m close to his age and definitely know some man-children from where he’s from who operated like this as new adults living without their in-home washer and dryer for the first time.”

SECRETLY STRUGGLING?

Recently, fans shared concerns about Channing after he posted bizarre black-and-white selfies on social media.

Channing shared several new moody selfies on his Instagram profile.

I hate doing laundry. Like, I hate it more than I can possibly say.”

In the first snap, the actor gazed directly at the camera with an intense expression while seated in a hot tub.

The movie star used a strange black-and-white filter that distorted his face into a nearly unrecognizable look.

Channing added several side angles using the same overlay, as trees and wooded land could be spotted in the background.

He captioned the post, “Moments of peace before the lil maniac woke up,” seemingly referencing his daughter Everly, 10, who he shares with his ex Jenna Dewan, 43.

But fans were stunned by the posts, rushing to the comments section to share concern for the actor’s “mental health.”

“How is no one genuinely concerned about him? All you guys see if a piece of meat but some of his posts are a bit concerning…he doesn’t seem joyful. I feel like he may be a bit down and out…struggling with his mental health,” one ranted.

“That first photo looks very dark not like the happy Channing from years ago. I know people change and evolve but this looks different,” a second agreed.

“Are you ok?” a third wondered, garnering nearly 700 likes in agreement.

“Literally what I was about to ask,” a fourth admitted.

LOVE AGAIN

In October 2023, the news broke that Channing and actress Zoë Kravitz were engaged.

The couple were first linked in 2021 and their relationship was confirmed shortly after.

Sources revealed to People in the fall that the Hollywood stars will be walking down the aisle very soon.

Zoe flaunted her ring while arriving at Kendall and Kylie Jenner’s Halloween Party at the Chateau Marmot in LA this past October.

The Batman actress was dressed up as Rosemary Woodhouse from Rosemary’s Baby while her beau was dressed as a baby.

Photographers snapped a glimpse at the large rock on her ring finger as she clutched a sharp knife, keeping in costume.
