Former Disney Channel star Skai Jackson was arrested last week on charges of domestic battery following an altercation with her boyfriend.
The incident, confirmed by Page Six, took place on August 9 at Universal CityWalk in Hollywood, California.

Jackson, best known for her role in “Jessie,” reportedly got into a physical altercation with her boyfriend.
According to a representative from the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department, security personnel observed the couple beginning to argue and decided to intervene when they allegedly saw Jackson push her boyfriend multiple times.
Security guards detained the couple until police arrived. Upon reviewing the footage, authorities noted that Jackson appeared to have pushed her boyfriend twice, leading to her arrest for misdemeanor domestic battery. She was cited and released a few hours later.
The case is now under review by the LA County District Attorney’s Office to determine if further charges will be brought against Jackson.
Despite the apparent evidence, both Jackson and her boyfriend have denied any physical altercation, claiming they are happily engaged and expecting a child.
The news of Jackson’s arrest was first reported by TMZ. The actress, who gained viral fame in 2016 as a meme, has kept her personal life, including details about her boyfriend, largely private.
Skai Jackson is not the first Disney Channel star to encounter legal troubles. “That’s So Raven” alum Orlando Brown has faced multiple arrests related to burglaries, domestic violence, and drugs. Similarly, “Hannah Montana” actor Mitchel Musso was arrested last summer for public intoxication.
