‘I’m sobbing uncontrollably!’ General Hospital fans cry as Dante ‘fights for his life’ in ICU after show teases death
GENERAL Hospital’s Dante Falconeri has suffered a huge accident that left fans devastated.
During an episode of the fan-favorite soap opera, Dante was shot twice in the chest after getting into a confrontation with two perpetrators and left in the ICU.

The previous episode left the incident on a cliff-hanger, but Friday’s showing started with Dante fighting for his life in the emergency center.
Fans flocked to X, formerly Twitter, to express their distress at the event.
“I’m sobbing uncontrollably over Dante in ICU,” wrote a fan online.
“Damn, this episode of General Hospital is pretty good!! The dialogue is amazing. Don’t kill Dante!” Added another.
“I would like Dante to stay,” noted a third while another said, “Will Dante Die? I seriously hope not.”
“If Dante dies, this [show] will suck,” expressed a fifth.
The show ended with doctor Portia giving an update on Dante’s health to Olivia and Sam.
She said that the damage had been repaired and Dante had been moved to the ICU and is in critical condition.
Portia claimed that it was a step in the right direction.
Last episode, Dante suffered gun shot wounds after confronting two criminals.
After the shots occurred, Jason rushed over to help Dante by putting a jacket underneath his gunshot wounds to help stop the bleeding.
He urged paramedics to get to the pier as soon as possible – but Jason suddenly left, only for Joss and Dex to find him after they were called to the scene.
After viewing the latest episode, fans were left on a cliffhanger as to whether Dante will survive.

Dominic Zamprogna is the actor who brings Dante to life.
The Canadian actor was nominated for a Daytime Emmy for his work as Dante in 2014, 2016, 2019, and 2021.
He is also well-known for his roles in the television series Edgemont and Battle Star Galactica.
In 2009, Dominic joined General Hospital.
He played Dante until 2018, with sporadic appearances on the show in 2019.
The actor returned to the daytime drama in 2020 and has been a staple on the show ever since.
Fans are torn on whether Dante will remain on the show or not.
