Free agent guard Kelly Oubre Jr., has agreed to a two-year, $16.3 million deal to stay with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

The deal includes a player option on the 2025-26 season for the Sixers’ starting 2-guard, sources said.

Oubre, 28, was a surprise minimum signing by the 76ers last summer, but he turned into a reliable part of coach Nick Nurse’s rotation, averaging 15.4 points and 5 rebounds.

Oubre, the 15th overall pick in the 2015 NBA draft, spent the first three-plus seasons of his career in Washington before playing for the Phoenix Suns, Golden State Warriors and Charlotte Hornets and then landing in Philadelphia.

ESPN’s Tim Bontemps contributed to this report.

The Philadelphia 76ers and guard Kelly Oubre Jr. have agreed to a two-year, $16.3-million extension that includes a player option for the 2025-26 season, sources told ESPN’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Oubre, 28, is coming off his first season with the Sixers, averaging 15.4 points and five rebounds while shooting 44% from the field in 68 games (52 starts).

The 76ers are still reportedly in pursuit of Paul George, Wojnarowski adds. The Los Angeles Clippers announced Sunday that they expect George to leave the team via free agency due to a “significant” gap in contract discussions.

Oubre will be entering his 10th season next year, averaging 13.1 points, 4.5 total boards, and 1.1 assists over 595 career games.
