Despite leaving the playoffs early, it seems that Jimmy Butler is finding success in a different sport. The Miami Heat’s star recently doubled his money at a game of poker organized by the Hustler Casino. However, the star’s gesture after winning did not sit well with professional poker player, Dan Bilzerian.

After doubling his money at the poker game, Jimmy Butler left the table and stepped away from the game. Dan Bilzerian who was present at the same table called out Butler for his behavior. As the other players on the table tried to explain the situation, Bilzerian called Butler a ‘baby’.

That basketball player wanted to leave so bad once he doubled up. He was ready to hit the f***ing door.

Bilzerian did not stop there as he went ahead and stated that he should have asked Butler ‘Why are you gay?’. The other players tried to defend Butler by stating that the star was not a professional in the sport. But Bilzerian seemed upset as he was firm in his opinion.

Bilzerian’s disrespect towards Butler was surprising considering the amount the Heat’s star won in the game. Butler defeated Neymar and won $174k which was the hand of the night. But yet Bilzerian was not impressed by Butler’s performance.

Doubling his money might have not been the only reason Butler decided to leave the table. As much as the 34-year-old was enjoying winning, Butler was not fond of his company at the table. Professional boxer, Ryan Garcia was sitting next to Butler and was having the time of his life but Butler did not feel the same.

Butler seemed uncomfortable around Garcia as the boxer was extremely energetic and even started dancing after he won a hand. Later an awkward conversation between the duo went viral, where Garcia praised Butler’s time at the Chicago Bulls and further asked which team Butler plays for now despite already knowing the answer. “I knew that. I don’t even know why I asked,” Ryan Garcia said.

Garcia’s antics could have been a reason for Butler’s early exit. But despite not having the best interactions or not leaving a mark on professional poker players, Butler certainly had a great time at the event. The star even gave some of his money away to fans.
