Connor Stalions was the focal point of a Netflix documentary, “Untold: Sign Stealer,” which was released on Netflix.

It appears Connor Stalions had a big hand in the Michigan Wolverines’ 2022 win over the Iowa Hawkeyes. He was even rewarded for it.

The former Wolverines staffer who has been at the center of Michigan’s sign-stealing scandal recently revealed that he was awarded the game ball for “deciphering signals” in the Wolverines’ 27-14 win at Iowa in October 2022.

Connor Stalions revealed that much during the Netflix documentary “Sign Stealer,” which was released Tuesday.

“I actually got the game ball for the Iowa game in ’22 for deciphering signals,” Stalions said during the documentary. “I’m the only one that has (a game ball) that says my name. Understanding coach (Jim) Harbaugh and his way of coaching, I think that, if anything, it’s like a ‘Hey, we see you. You’re doing a good job.’”

Stalions sat down with Netflix to tell his side of the story less than a year after he resigned during the Wolverines’ undefeated national championship-winning season.

Jim Harbaugh, the new coach of the Los Angeles Chargers, has continued deny any wrongdoing. After this part in the series, it’s going to be hard for him to continue to deny that he had any knowledge that signs were being stolen.

Connor Stalions even stated in the film that Harbaugh told him that he shouldn’t get a big head because he got a game ball for his sign-stealing.

Connor Stalions Gets New Coaching Job Despite Controversy

Former Michigan staffer Connor Stalions somehow made his way back to the football with a new job.

Stalions, the former low-level recruiter at the University of Michigan who was allegedly behind the sign-stealing scandal, landed a new job as an assistant coach at Mumford High School in Detroit.

In a statement, the Detroit Public Schools Community District says Connor Stalions is serving as a volunteer.

“Assistant coaches are selected and hired as contractors or volunteers, not full-time employees of the District, by head coaches and their school principals,” a district spokesperson said, per CBS News.

Mumford opens its 2024 season at home against Redford Thurston on Aug. 29.
