When it comes to the most prominent NFL stars, Jason and Travis Kelce’s fame has undoubtedly soared, especially since Travis has been dating Taylor Swift. Still, it’s evident that some celebs don’t know who the football players are.

The clue for the puzzle on Monday’s celebrity edition of “Wheel of Fortune” was “family,” and it was evident that “Travis and Jason Kelce” was the correct answer. Designer Christian Siriano and actors Sarah Levy (“Schitt’s Creek”) and Krysten Ritter (“Breaking Bad”) solved most of the riddle, but they struggled to put together the final pieces of the answer, “Travis and Jason Kelce.”

To solve the riddle, Ritter had to keep spinning the wheel and making guesses about the letters. She recognized the names “Travis and Jason,” but she was unable to immediately think of the name “Kelce.” Instead, she decided to go with her letter-by-letter guessing until she was able to complete the riddle.

She wasn’t by herself. Even after Jason and Travis’ names were written on the board, Siriano disclosed that he had no idea what the puzzle’s possible solution would be.

“What is this word?” Siriano wondered.

Eventually, Ritter guessed the final letter, which put the complete phrase on the board. She then said “Travis and Jason Kelce” to win the round, though she mispronounced their last name.

“I don’t know who they are,” Ritter said after host Pat Sajak said the answer would be accepted.

At least one of the three contestants was familiar with the Kelce brothers. The pair were football players, Levy informed Ritter right away, though she acknowledged she only knew it for one reason.

“It’s a Taylor Swift thing,” she said. “Sadly, it’s the only reason I know who [they are].”

Taylor Swift and Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce became one of Hollywood’s hottest celebrity couples after going public with their romance in September 2023.

During an April 23 episode of the podcast Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald, comedian McDonald spoke with Spencer Pratt about Swift and Kelce’s relationship.

“Do you think they’re gonna get married?” McDonald asked Pratt about the famous couple.

“100 percent,” he responded. “I think she’s gonna have fam—baby—I’ve got into multiple arguments with people that they’re like, ‘This is all for show,’ and I’m like, ‘No it’s not.’”

McDonald then went on to explain Swift and Kelce would get engaged in May.

“I hope so, I think maybe the Paris show, you know, at the Eiffel Tower or something,” Pratt said, pr Newsweek.

McDonald agreed, saying: “That’s what I said, the Paris show and something—because I think [Kelce’s] sort of basic, and Diablo Cody, the screenwriter, is the one who gave me that idea. So, I don’t want to take it completely for myself. But I think that’s in May.

“And yeah, I mean, I think she’s, she’s like 33, right? So, I think she wants to get on the baby train, and I think she wants to do it right. I think she wants to be—not that it’s wrong—but I think she wants to do it traditional for herself and for her parents. I think she wants to be married and then get pregnant; that’s my opinion.”
