Victor Wembanyama's real height was measured by Spurs, and the number is surreal - SBNation.com

With a young star in Victor Wembanyama that wants to win as soon as possible, the San Antonio Spurs have pressure to build a much better roster around him than they had this past season. This summer will be a big one for the Spurs, as they seek different ways to improve their team around Wembanyama, whether through trades or free agency.

In a recent report from Chris Haynes of Bleacher Report, it was announced that San Antonio is among the teams interested in free agent forward Tobias Harris. Having just completed a 5-year, $180M contract with the Philadelphia 76ers, Harris certainly will not fetch that this time around, but could be a solid veteran addition for a team like the Spurs.

San Antonio may not be able to acquire a superstar this summer to make a real push into championship contention, but even being a playoff contender is a big step in the right direction for this teams development. Getting Wembanyama in some meaningful games would be huge for his growth, as there is no question he is the future face of this franchise, and potentially the future face of basketball.

Harris is the type of player who could help San Antonio be a much better team next season, even if he is not the type of piece that completely alters their outlook. It will be interesting to see if Harris seeks to join a championship contender or a place like San Antonio where he could land a bigger contract.
