The NFC East has made a drastic turnaround and become one of the most competitive divisions in all of football. The biggest rivalry in the division is of course, between the Philadelphia Eagles and the Dallas Cowboys. However, this season, another interesting rivalry seems to be brewing.

The New York Giants picked wide receiver Malik Nabers with their first pick in this year’s draft. He is a man with immense potential, and apparently, confidence too. Nabers was asked by the media which corner he is looking forward to matching up against the most this season. His response to that was Trevon Diggs from the Dallas Cowboys.

The corner, who had a stellar rookie season and made a statement in his first year, did not waste time in responding to Nabers’ call-out.

Giants been getting belt for some years now.

Statistically, he is not wrong, it has been a rough stretch for fans in the Big Apple. It does not help their case that in all-time matchups against the Cowboys, the Giants have bested them on 47 occasions whereas America’s team has beat them on 75 occasions.

Malik Nabers is confident about beating Trevon Diggs in Week 4 of this season

The Giants and Cowboys will face off on the 26th of September. Following Trevon Diggs‘ response, Nabers did not sit quiet, he went on to post a snipped of lyrics from YoungBoy Never Broke Again’s song Boot Up in a now-deleted tweet.

The exact line he chose goes like this, “P**** want to Insta’ beef, he Tweetin’ and I see all of that.” Nabers dismissed Diggs’ response as nothing more than an attempt to stir up beef online.

The back-and-forth between these two just made the Cowboys-Giants game a whole lot exciting! Trevon Diggs will be coming off of his ACL injury, one that he sustained early on last season during practice. It was unfortunate to see his year end in that fashion, especially after his blockbuster debut.

Giants fans were loving it as one of then wrote “my goat” while another commented “You gotta love the confidence!” under the post.

For Nabers, his rookie year will come with a lot of pressure. He will play for one of the most passionate fanbases in all of football and will be the primary target on offense.

Following the departure of Saquon Barkley, all eyes are now on him. He had a good year at LSU tallying up 1,569 yards and led the FBS in receiving yards. It remains to be seen if he can achieve the same level of success in the NFL.
