New York Rangers enforcer Matt Rempe had one of the most exciting rookie seasons you can have and now is training fans how to be just like him in the offseason.

Matt Rempe came on to the scene hot making his debut in the NHL at the Stadium Series against the New York Rangers. After getting into a fight against Matt Martin the legend of Matt Rempe was born.

Throughout the season he would continue building his fighting resume adding top enforcers like Maple Leafs Ryan Reaves to his list.

Matt Rempe’s magical rookie season would eventually come to an end in the Stanley Cup Playoffs after a series loss to the eventual Stanley Cup Champion Florida Panthers in the Eastern Conference Finals.

Since the end of the season, Matt Rempe has not been heard from much that is until he was found training today.

This evening a new video clip is circulating on X showing Matt Rempe working with local fans from the Alberta Boxing Club. Matt Rempe can be seen training with them on the ice showing them how to fight hockey style.

For Matt Rempe this seems to be a way to interact with fans and the local community he grew up in while still training himself. Of course, Matt Rempe and these people are not actually fighting but going through the basic techniques of a hockey fight.

After his electric NHL debut and immediate stardom, it will be interesting to see what a second season in the league has in store for Matt Rempe.
