The internet was laughing at Kyle Pitts after he was pictured wearing a life jacket during a team outing at a water park.

The Atlanta Falcons tight end joined his teammates for an offseason team activity but was apparently not willing to get into the wave pool without a vest.

Check him out in the photo below:

Safety first, right? But he wasn’t the only one.

Still, fans were making all sorts of jokes after the photo began trending online.

“Broski didn’t want to drown.. safety first,” one wrote.

“I just dropped Kyle Pitts in every fantasy league,” another joked.

“Bros just happy to be there 😭😭,” someone else claimed.

“If you can’t swim you can’t swim. Nothing wrong with that,” a fan declared.

“Dude in the middle looks like he has a life jacket on and still drowning 😂,” a user observed.

Kyle Pitts Had Other Fans Defending Him

Other users pointed out that wave pools are not as safe as folks might think and commended the 2021 Pro Bowler for wearing the life jacket.

“Yo, I don’t even know how anyone can remotely make fun of him! These wave pools can be brutal and I’ve been swimming since my parents threw me off a boat when I was 3. And even if he can swim sometimes you wanna float,” one noted.

“I can swim really f***ing good and that’s the only way I’d get in a wave pool, wave pools are death machines that look fun,” another wrote.

Meanwhile, Kyle Pitts is being tipped to have a monster season, given that the Falcons have signed two formidable quarterbacks this year, having acquired Kirk Cousins in free agency and drafting Michael Penix Jr.

The TE is being touted as a top football fantasy pick by various experts heading into the season. He’s definitely going to be a player to watch in 2024.
