Suffering an injury as grave as a torn ACL is not easy for any player, especially as it requires surgical repair. Coming off an ACL injury, athletes often lose their forms and that’s exactly what happened with the Buffalo Bills’ pass rusher Von Miller.

After sustaining the ACL injury in 2022, Miller recorded the worst season of his career in 2023 with zero sacks. Even though the 35-year-old is not the same offensive weapon he used to be, doesn’t mean he lost all his potential. That’s why he lashed out at those claiming his career is finished.

My biggest individual goal is just getting back to playing my style of football. It’s crazy how you get injured, and you come back, and you really shouldn’t have even been playing, and people judge you by a product on the field.

Von Miller said in a conversation with Sports Illustrated

Miller stated that considering the seriousness of his injury, he shouldn’t be playing in the first place but still people are judging him based on his form and that’s making him quite angry.

While talking on the subject, the all-time sacks artist also shared how he believes the Bills deserve to win the Super Bowl and have a good possibility to win it in the upcoming season. He highlighted that the Bills’ fans and Western New York deserve to support a Super Bowl champion team as they “do so much for our community and our football team.”

The star linebacker also praised quarterback Josh Allen by calling him “one of the most amazing people that I have ever been around in my life.” In the upcoming season, he will do everything in his power to bring them the Super Bowl in 2025.

If the linebacker succeeds in his goal, he will become the first player in the history of the NFL to win the Super Bowl trophy in three different teams. He already has won Super Bowl rings with the Los Angeles Rams and Denver Broncos.
