Today the Nashville Predators have made a big trade sending away former top-10 pick Cody Glass to the Pittsburgh Penguins.

The Nashville Predators continue to shake up their lineup this evening making a trade with the Pittsburgh Penguins. According to NHL insider Elliotte Friedman, the Predators are sending Cody Glass to the Penguins.

Cody Glass is most well known for going 6th overall in the 2017 NHL Draft and being the first selection in the history of the Vegas Golden Knights. After being selected Cody Glass had a tough time cracking the lineup and was sent to the Nashville Predators.

With the Predators Cody Glass had a bit of a breakout tallying 14 goals and 21 assists in 2022-23. However his follow-up season left a lot to be desired and had many doubting his future. Now he gets a chance for another restart with the Penguins.

The Penguins have struggled to find young players to fit into their NHL lineup. At just 25 years old Cody Glass provides good depth and potential upside for the Pittsburgh Penguins lineup. As more details are confirmed from this trade we will continue to update the story.
