Stephen Curry, widely regarded as the best shooter in NBA history, displayed amazing skills in Team USA’s gold medal-winning game against France in the 2024 Paris Olympics.

While every American basketball fan celebrated Curry’s performance, the French fans were devastated by the four-time NBA champion’s performance. The loss also significantly impacted one of the most famous fast-food brand franchises in France.

McDonald’s France is considering modifying its menu following Curry’s stellar performance and continuous three-pointers, which secured Team USA’s 98-87 victory over France in the final game of the 2024 Olympics. According to a post on its official Instagram page on Sunday, the corporation plans to suspend its Sauce Classic Curry for approximately four years until the next Olympics.

The post included a French caption: “Pour des raisons évidentes, nous envisageons de retirer cette sauce,” which translates to “For obvious reasons, we are considering removing this sauce” in English.

However, it is unclear whether the brand was serious about their post after Team USA’s win, but Curry’s stellar performance was witnessed by every basketball fan in the world.
