In the New York Knicks’ last game of the 2024 Summer League, Obadiah Noel spearheaded a triumphant performance by the reserves, with a leading 15 points in a 90-82 win against the Atlanta Hawks. Finishing with a 3-2 record, the Knicks ended their campaign on a successful note, securing three consecutive victories after initially losing two games.

Under the guidance of summer coach Dice Yoshimoto, every substitute played and scored, supporting the team-wide push that decisively benefited from the deep bench. Noel, Sam Cele, and Rokas Jokubaitis each contributed significantly by making four field goals apiece.

Jokubaitis stood out particularly with a plus-18 in the plus/minus column. This likely concludes his appearances with the Knicks until the next summer, leaving a strong impression with five assists and five rebounds. While Tyler Kolek didn’t match his earlier scoring prowess, he still managed to play a crucial role, especially in the first quarter where he scored four points and made three assists, totaling a team-high of six assists.

Meanwhile, the Atlanta Hawks finished their Summer League without a win, holding a 0-5 record. Zaccharie Risacher sat out their last game. Keaton Wallace highlighted for the Hawks, nearly achieving a double-double with 23 points and nine assists.
