After ending his career in the NHL over a decade ago, former Winnipeg Jets forward Keith Tkachuk was seen in tears after seeing his son do what he never could and lift his first Stanley Cup.
Keith Tkachuk had a long and illustrious career with the NHL. With a stay that spanned over 18 years, this veteran forward played with the Winnipeg Jets, Phoenix Coyotes, St. Louis Blues, and Atlant Thrashers. After his retirement in 2010, Tkachuk had recorded 1065 points in 1201 career games.

Despite a solid career, Keith Tkachuk never earned the Stanley Cup. However, he had the chance to watch one of his sons do so tonight. Following a string of losses to the Edmonton Oilers, Matthew Tkachuk and the Florida Panthers finally earned their first of the franchise.
Seeing this feat and honor would make any father proud. Howvere, with his historic career behind him, this was enough to break Keith Tkachuk, who was seen in tears after seeing his son Matthew lift the Stanley Cup.

Regardless of the desired outcome of the Stanley Cup Finals, this is a heartwarming moment for fans everywhere. If he is lucky enough, Keith Tkachuk will get the chance to see his other son Brady Tkachuk do the same. Until then, this will undoubtedly be one of the highlights of his life.
