Jalen Green and Draya Michele are in a ‘serious’ relationship
The former Basketball Wives star Draya Michele and Houston Rockets player Jalen Green have been making headlines lately due to the 17-year age gap in their relationship. Michele and Green have reportedly been dating since August 2023, and they welcomed their first child together in May 2024.
While on a walk with Green, Michele told the TMZ reporter that she does not seem to understand the negativity surrounding her relationship with the Rockets’ star.
We try to stay off the internet and not really listen to that kind of stuff…We block it out and mind our business…Two adults being in love, I don’t know why that would rub people the wrong way, It’s kind of weird. Love is love at the end of the day.

Michele claimed that the couple doesn’t pay much attention to the internet and added that one should leave them alone. Green agreed with Draya that it doesn’t matter what others think.

Earlier social media users branded Michele a “predator” for having a child with a much younger man. This followed her pregnancy announcement on social media in March. It remains to be seen whether the NBA and the worldwide community will cut the couple some slack in the future regarding their ongoing relationship.

As per TMZ, Jalen Green, 22, welcomed a daughter in February 2024 with a different woman, named Myah Lakopo even though he was dating Draya Michele at the time. Soon after, in May 2024, Green and Michele had their first child together.
According to TMZ‘s sources, Myah Lakopo hasn’t reportedly spoken to Michele and is unbothered by Green’s simultaneous relationships. It is claimed that Green and Lakopo were not in a “serious” relationship when Peace Moira Lakopo (Green and Myah’s newborn) was conceived.
On the other hand, Michele and Green seem to be having a serious relationship by the looks of it, despite Michele being 17 years older than Green. The Rockets star has been vocal regarding the couple’s relationship, constantly showing support for his partner, Michele.
