Former NBA star Raymond Felton recently expressed his admiration for Curry’s unparalleled shooting abilities. During an appearance on ‘To the Baha’ with Theo Pinson, Felton claimed that while someone might eventually break Curry’s records, it would be a monumental challenge.
“The best shooter we’ll see ever. I mean, I know there’s gonna be somebody that might break his records one day. Maybe, maybe, maybe. Maybe break his record. He’s the best shooter we’ll ever see, man,” Felton said.
The former NBA star then compared Curry to another NBA legend, Kevin Durant. Felton noted that their accuracy is so remarkable that any missed shot comes as a shock.
Warriors Push for Stephen Curry’s Long-Term Commitment After Klay Thompson’s Departure
Stephen Curry is at a pivotal moment in his career with the Golden State Warriors. This offseason, Curry lost his longtime teammate and friend, Klay Thompson, who joined the Dallas Mavericks. With Thompson’s departure, the Warriors are eager to ensure that Curry remains with the team for the long haul.
Curry is eligible to sign a one-year, $62.6 million contract extension with the Warriors. While fans and the franchise hope he will commit soon, the timeline for his decision remains uncertain. According to a report by Marc Stein, an extension is expected, but when it will happen is still up in the air.
Interestingly, if Curry decides not to sign an extension immediately, it could lead to a greater financial gain. Stein’s report suggests that Curry could eventually secure a two-year contract worth approximately $130 million by just waiting a little longer.
