Calgary Flames fans have been exposed in an attempt to sabatage the Edmonton Oilers ahead of their game 7 versus the Florida Panthers on Monday night.

Safe to say everyone in Canada is rooting for the Edmonton Oilers on Monday night as they have crawled back from a 3-0 deficit to the Florida Panthers. Well, everyone but their rivals across the border, the Calgary Flames. One fan even sent a DM on Instagram to Greenspace in an attempt to sabotage Connor McDavid and the Edmonton Oilers.

Dear Greenspace,
As you may or may not know, the Edmonton Oilers have taken the Stanley Cup Finals to game 7. It would be an environmental PR disaster if a team named after a fossil fuel won the Stanley Cup after coming back down from 3-0. Just think about how good that would make Oil and gas look.This is unacceptable. I urge you to get in contact with Gary Bettman to ensure that the refs rig the game in favour of the Florida Panthers.

Florida Panthers are an endangered species. If the Panthers win the cup it would be much more environmentally friendly.
