In a recent episode of ‘The OG Show,’ former NBA player Dwight Howard made predictions about the Los Angeles Lakers’ star player, LeBron James, and his son, Bronny James. Howard believes that the LA Lakers star will not leave the team until he can play alongside his son, Bronny, on the same team.
“They’re getting Bronny next year; LeBron said listen, I’m not signing till y’all get Bronn. Bronny is coming back; he’s playing for the Lakers. Bron gonna play his 21st season with the Lakers, and they gonna get the first-round exit again. It’s over with, and the new kids are on the block. It’s gonna be hard for a lot of these older teams to win with these new kids on the block,“ Dwight Howard said.
LeBron James expresses desire to play alongside his son before retiring
A few weeks ago, LeBron James revealed his desire to play in the same NBA team as his son before retiring. This suggests that he is not planning to retire or leave the Lakers in the next season.
The NBA draft is scheduled to take place on June 27, 2024. There is speculation that the Lakers may choose Bronny James, who is highly popular among fans and analysts. NBA analysts are debating where Bronny will end up in the draft. Young James entered the transfer portal this spring after finishing his freshman year at USC, averaging 4.8 points, 2.8 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game. As of now, he is still present.
Bronny can join the NBA, return to the NCAA, and attend any college he wishes. Both alternatives have advantages, and Bronny may choose which path to take this summer. At least for now, he seems to be leaning towards the NBA, which makes sense, given his desire to play alongside his father as soon as possible.
