Following the acquisition announced in the last few hours, the signing has now followed for the new forward in the Montreal Canadiens organization.
Two days ago, the Trois-Rivières Lions announced a trade. Forward Matthew Boucher was traded to the Fort Wayne Komets in exchange for the rights to forward Morgan Adams-Moisan, who is known as a tough player.
Following this transaction, the Quebecer Adams-Moisan has reached an agreement with the organization, and he officially becomes a new forward in the Montreal Canadiens’ organization.
Don’t be surprised if he eventually helps the Laval Rocket.
After his acquisition, Morgan Adams-Moisan signs a contract with the Lions
See the official announcement from the organization.
He will notably be able to protect the younger players in the organization, bring a lot of energy, toughness, and experience to the Canadiens’ affiliate.
Adams-Moisan, aged 27, is a Quebec forward standing 6 feet 2 inches tall and weighing 216 pounds. He is originally from La Tuque.
He has played with the Drummondville Voltigeurs and the Blainville-Boisbriand Armada in the QMJHL. He accumulated 61 points in 68 games with the Voltigeurs, along with 67 penalty minutes.
In 2016 with the Armada, he incurred 107 penalty minutes in 58 games.
Adams-Moisan also has experience in the American Hockey League, having played 64 games in the league (160 penalty minutes).
We officially welcome him to the great Montreal Canadiens family. It will be interesting to see if he can climb the ranks.
In any case, he is likely to put on a good show for spectators and fans.
Details will follow.
