The first performance of Taylor Swift’s The Eras Tour kicked off the Australian concert circuit on February 16 in the evening at Melbourne Cricket Ground.

This stadium is enormous. With a seating capacity of 100,024 people, the Melbourne Cricket Ground is the biggest stadium in the Southern Hemisphere and the eleventh largest worldwide.

At the beginning of the performance, Taylor Swift said, “This is the biggest show of this tour, as well as any of my previous tours.”

According to Taylor Swift, 96,000 people attended her event at the Melbourne Cricket Ground. The audience “erupted” when Taylor Swift confirmed this information.

Taylor’s Australian concert’s scale

The crowd that came to see the event moved Taylor Swift.

Similar to numerous others, Taylor Swift started from nothing and gradually grew her fan base to what it is now.

But with talent, perseverance, and a readiness to take on new challenges, the 1989-born singer has made a name for herself.

Since she was a little child, Taylor has loved music, and she has composed and sung innumerable songs at independent fairs and coffee shops on the street.

In order to reach a larger audience, she sang anywhere she could at the time and showed no fear of hard work.

Taylor’s perseverance paid off when she experienced a miracle. When the owner of the well-known record company Big Machine Records saw Taylor’s innate songwriting ability in 2004, he understood right away that this was the element he was searching for.

Taylor Swift made her formal debut as an artist in the Hollywood entertainment industry after that fateful night of meeting.

Her breakthrough single, the heartfelt ballad Tim Mcgraw, debuted at number 40 on the worldwide music charts early in June 2009.

Her debut album was released in October of the same year, and it reached at number five on the Billboard 200 chart.

In doing so, Taylor became the youngest female artist. After then, Taylor’s career started to go in a different way.

The most obvious response to the female singer’s professional route is that she has won multiple big and modest accolades, including four golden Album of the Year trumpets.

Considering that Taylor releases one or two albums a year—including the forthcoming “blockbuster” The Tortured Poets Department on April 19—many people make the joke that being a fan of hers doesn’t mean you’re starved for music.

Nobody can work this miracle for Taylor on her own, not even the singer who plays at fairs and cafes or the promoter of a concert that draws close to 100,000 people!
