When mentioning  Liam Neeson , many audiences will immediately remember the famous “blockbuster”  Taken and a series of top action blockbusters.

 However, the veteran actor plans to say goodbye to his forte in films because he realizes he is getting old.

 In an interview with Entertainment Tonight on January 14 (local time), the Irish star said his time in action movies is about to end. “I am 68 and a half years old, and will turn 69 this year.

I will do a few more works and then that’s it, hopefully the epidemic situation will change positively, allowing us to complete some projects. project is in progress. Then I will stop,” the actor born in 1952 expressed.
Liam Neeson also shared that what makes him continue to act in action movies is being able to shake hands with other young stars. 

“I like collaborations like that, like beating actors half my age.” The Taken series star shared that he recently had a filming session in Australia and his co-star was a young man about the same age as his son. 

“I had a fight scene with a kid, a lovely, polite actor named Taylor and in the middle of the fight, I looked up, out of breath and he was unharmed.
 I asked my co-star how old he was, he replied 25, I just laughed and said: So you are the same age as my oldest son”, the U.70 action star excitedly recounted. 

Recently, Liam Neeson has been busy with many film projects. His latest work is  The Marksman,  scheduled to hit theaters on January 15.

Referring to the “old men” of the action movie genre, it would be a mistake to ignore the name Liam Neeson. The fact that the veteran star announced that he wanted to stop acting in his forte genre made many viewers regretful

 In October 2020, the veteran star shared with Fox News that he wanted the contributions of stunt actors to be honored and recognized by major awards. 

“The stuntmen were really great. One of the people I had the opportunity to work with was Mark Vanselow, and we worked together on 24 movies. He did many great stunts for me and countless other actors.
 
Yes, they always do that silently and they should be recognized instead of just people in the industry knowing among themselves,” the Non-stop movie star confided.

Born in 1952, Liam Neeson is known as the “godfather” of Hollywood action movies . The actor joined the film industry in the mid-1970s and owns many outstanding works such as: The Bounty, The Mission, Next of Kin, Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace, Batman Begins… Film career Liam Neeson’s acting career reached its peak when he played Bryan Mills in the hit action film series Taken with the first part released in theaters in 2008.
