Sylvester Stallone has quashed bizarre rumors that he died in bed by posting on Twitter claiming he was “still boxing” that night.

The Rocky star told fans to “ignore this stupid rumor” and confirmed he is “alive and well” after the rumor swept social media.

He added: “Remember to hold on to life and not let it go until you succeed.”

This is not the first time he has been rumored to have passed away. In September 2016, Facebook users also spread the news that Stallone died at his home in Los Angeles.

The incident was later exposed as fake news when it was discovered to be related to a site specializing in spreading fake news about celebrity deaths.
