Gisele Bundchen looked sensational as she enjoyed a Costa Rica break with boyfriend Joaquim Valente and her children this week.
The supermodel, 43, and jiu-jitsu ace Joaquim, 35, who proved they were still an item after ex-husband Tom Brady’s Netflix roast.
Looked smitten as the hunk bonded with the children she shares with the NFL icon – Benjamin, 14 and Vivian, 11.
Gisele flashed her taut abs and cleavage in a strapless terracotta bikini top, paired with tiny white shorts.
Her blonde locks were styled in her signature beachy waves and she sported a radiant palette of make-up.
Joaquim showed off his muscular frame in camo shorts as he was seen joking around with Benjamin and Vivian on the beach.
Costa Rica – where Gisele has a home – is a place she visited often with ex Tom, 46, and their family over the years.
The pair’s day out comes on the heels of reports that they called things off due to scrutiny following Tom Brady’s roast – although they later confirmed their romance was still very much on.
An insider revealed to InTouch Weekly that the ‘spotlight was too much’ for Joaquim.
‘Joaquim’s a regular guy,’ the source added. ‘He’s not used to all the attention he was getting.’
During the Netflix special, The Roast of Tom Brady, several jokes were made at the expense of Gisele and Joaquim’s relationship – which the martial arts teacher didn’t take lightly.
‘Joaquim became part of the joke,’ the insider shared. ‘People actually started asking him if he was the reason for their divorce. He hated that.’
At one point, comedian Nikki Glaser joked, ‘How much would it suck for Tom … omg, just knowing your ex-wife’s new boyfriend could beat your a– while eating hers.’
And the Brazilian runway model reportedly has a bone to pick with her ex-husband for what happened.
‘By agreeing to do the roast, he basically put a target on Joaquim’s back,’ the source concluded.
But despite the speculation, the duo is on good terms, with a source telling People, that the Miami residents have a close relationship, but not a ‘serious love affair.’
Along with a new romance, the cookbook author has also grown into her own.
A second source told People, Gisele has ‘blossomed’ since her divorce from the athlete.
‘She is secure and happy,’ the insider shared, ‘and so busy with her life that she doesn’t have time to dwell on the negatives out there.’
The exes split in October 2022 after 13 years of marriage and settled on joint custody of their two kids: Benjamin, 14, and Vivian, 11.
The 46-year-old is also dad to son Jack, 16, with ex-girlfriend, Bridget Moynahan.
Since ending her marriage, Gisele realized that she and the retired NFL player simply ‘wanted different things’ at this stage of life.
While it ‘doesn’t mean you don’t love the person,’ the star told Vanity Fair in 2023, ‘It just means that in order for you to be authentic and truly live the life that you want to live, you have to have somebody who can meet you in the middle, right? It’s a dance. It’s a balance.’
Reflecting on her philosophy of being in a partnership, Gisele added, ‘When you love someone, you don’t put them in a jail and say, “You have to live this life.”‘
‘You set them free to be who they are,’ she continued, ‘and if you want to fly the same direction, then that’s amazing.’
In September, Gisele took a moment to gush over her newfound freedom.
‘I look into my life and I wouldn’t have it any other way,’ she told CBS News Sunday Morning. ‘I wouldn’t have any other life.’
‘I mean, it’s not what I dreamed of and what I hoped for,’ Gisele added about being divorced. ‘My parents have been married for 50 years, and I really wanted that to happen. But I think you have to accept, you know, sometimes that the way you are in your 20s, it’s sometimes you grow together, sometimes you grow apart.’
And although she and Tom went their separate ways, they will always be connected.
‘He’s the father of my kids,’ Gisele explained. ‘So I always wish him the best, and I’m so grateful that he gave me wonderful children, and I think when a door shuts, other doors open.’
