Netflix viewers have been rushing to social media to gush over the streaming platform’s latest drama series, which has climbed to the prestigious spot of No.1 in Programmes Today.

Netflix subscribers are rallying behind a British actor to become the new James Bond after binge-watching his hit series. The streaming giant has been doling out cracking shows, and its recent addition affirms that its thrilling content isn’t dwindling anytime soon.

This drama series, currently occupying the prestigious ‘No. 1 in Programmes Today’ spot, has hooked Netflix viewers who all seem to share the same opinion about it.

The eight-part series, which made its Netflix debut just last week, features a star-studded cast and is bursting with scandalous affairs, criminal activities, and intense scenes that hold you in a state of revulsion and sheer suspense simultaneously.

The much-lauded series at hand is none other than Guy Ritchie’s The Gentlemen and stars Theo James from The White Lotus, Skins favourite Kaya Scodelario along with seasoned gangster film actors Vinnie Jones and Ray Winstone.

The Gentlemen unravels Eddie Horniman’s tale – enacted by James, who unexpectedly inherits an enormous estate and the Duke of Halstead title from his father.

Soon Eddie is plunged into a world of crime as he becomes entangled in career offender Bobby Glass’ (Ray Winstone) East End of London’s industrial cannabis empire.

“The world of The Gentlemen is a little bit of me,” Ritchie had divulged to Netflix last November.

“We’re looking forward to bringing fans back into that world, introducing new characters and their stories, and I am excited to be doing it with this extremely talented cast.”

Since its release on Netflix, viewers have been flocking to social media to share their excitement about James.
