Corrie fans think they have worked out when Paul Foreman will sadly die on the ITV soap.

Paul (Peter Ash) was diagnosed with Motor Neurone Disease, also known as MND, last year. Viewers of the ITV soap watched him start to struggle with his grip and he was eventually referred to a neurologist for tests.

Due to the fact that there is no cure, Paul’s demise is imminent – which left his family and his fellow residents heartbroken. However, Paul has since been on a mission to make the most of our what little time he has left.

Sadly though, his speech has slowly started deteriorating and he was recently told he could only eat pureed foods rather than solid ones, leaving him devastated as he tried to stay strong for his family.

What’s more, earlier this year, Paul made the shock confession that he wants to make the choice when his life should come to an end.

His husband Billy (Daniel Brocklebank) found out, and despite being reluctant at first, eventually vowed to be there for him, and help him when he decides the time has come for him to end his own life.

Their adopted daughter Summer (Harriet Bibby) also learned about the tragic plan before she headed off to America to study. This week though, Summer made her return to the cobbles after a few months away.

Now, fans reckon they know when Paul could pass away – with some claiming Summer’s return to the soap could be a clue.

On X, formerly known as Twitter, one person said: “Now Summer is back Paul has to die soon – August I would say.”

Fans think Summer’s return could hint that Paul’s death is near
Someone else added: “Calling it now Paul’s getting killed off any week now. Why else would Summer return?” A third penned: “Late summer / autumn at the latest. They won’t drag it out until Christmas and he is definitely leaving this year.”

A fourth wrote: “My take on Corrie…I think Paul’s demise may be soon, he’s now got a feeding tube so how will he end his own life with the drugs he has stashed away he can’t….”

Summer just returned to the Cobbles
In May, it was revealed that Paul is finally getting his dream church wedding as he renews his vows with hubby Billy. Terminally ill Paul and vicar Billy finally get their wish to marry in St Marys Church.

The couple tied the knot at The Bistro in October last year after they were told the church rules did not allow same sex marriages at the time.
