Last night he appeared on Aftersun for his first interview after being axed with co-star and latest love interest Harriett Blackmore.

Asked who he was gutted to leave behind, he said: “Joey and Mimii.”

Viewers were stunned he picked Mimii over other lads and girls, with one writing on X: “Mimi and Ronnie were best friends? Editing has done Mimi so dirty!”

Another penned on social media: “Didn’t know him and Mimii were close like that producers should show more of their friendships.”

“The way Ronnie was rooting for Ayo and Mimi… maybe there’s something we are not seeing. Fingers crossed,” one more bemused fan said.

Ronnie, whose nickname in the villa was Turbo, left Majorca on Friday and touched down in the UK this weekend.

Harriett shared a cosy-snap with him and headed to Aftersun to be interviewed by Maya Jama.

Elsewhere in their interview Harriett was quizzed about her long-standing feud with love rival Jess White, who she was trapped in a triangle with for a large part of her time on the show.

“For me, with Jess, I feel like I’ve always tried to be a bigger person,” Harriett told Maya.

“You know, the comments that she was making that I’ve seen now, I had no idea about, and maybe I would’ve taken a different approach if I knew what she was saying behind my back.”

“But at the end of the day, I did have to put my foot down at one point because it was just getting too much,” she added.

But I do wish her all the best, there’s no bad blood.”

When asked by Maya if there’s a chance of forming a friendship once Jess’s time on the show is over, Harriett laughed: “I think I’ll leave that one in the villa.”

Jess and Harriett were locked in numerous disagreements during their time together – largely over Ronnie, who they were both fighting for.

While Jess later backed down from Ronnie, saying she “was the prize” and wanted to feel like it, it didn’t do much to settle the awkward feeling between the girls.

At points, moments got so intensely awkward that viewers branded Jess a “bully” over her behaviour towards Harriett.

Last week, Jess was saved after a public vote caused Ronnie and Harriett to be brutally dumped.
