BBC EastEnders viewers have chosen which of their favourite soap characters they would “s***, marry or kill” – and one unlikely character is very much in demand

EastEnders fans have taken part in a game of “s***, marry, kill” – and let’s just say one character is very popular.

Since 1985, the BBC One soap has been a staple on telly screens. And it’s fair to say the programme has delivered on drama over the years too.

From record-breaking storylines like 2001’s Who Shot Phil to the controversial baby swap storyline in 2010 – fans have watched the soap with their mouths on the floor.

What’s more, the soap has introduced countless characters – both good and bad. The likes of telly icons including Kat Slater and Ian Beale, as well as newbie’s Eve Unwin and bad guy Nish Panesar, have all walked through Albert Square.

But now, over in a Reddit Thread, fans have taken part in a game of S***, Marry Kill involving soap characters. And fans clearly have a favourite.

The fan wrote on the page: “S***, Marry, Kill…and you can choose from the entire current cast. You can choose from ANY character currently in the show, so… S***, Marry, Kill. Who would you choose?”

Names like Priya, Ravi and Pastor Clayton all popped up, with one fan writing: “S*** Ravi but only if his hair is down because it is beautiful.

“Marry Harvey because he is a solid bloke and is a delight. Kill… Clayton for what he did to Yolande. She deserves to not be afraid in her own community and killing him off would be the best way to ensure this,” they added.

It seems the soap baddie is very popular
But one character that appeared to pop up a lot was Nish. Actor Navin Chowdhry plays the villain who first appeared in 2022 – and the character has caused plenty of drama.

“S*** Nish, Marry Nish, Kill Nish,” said one smitten person. Someone else added: “100% with you,” while a third agreed: “Came here to exactly say that!”

Another social media user chimed in and proclaimed: “S*** Nish, Marry George, Kill Nish after the s***.” A fifth penned: “Honestly? S*** Nish, Marry Callum, Kill Freddie.”

Fans were also gushing over Stacey
Another popular character that popped up was soap legend Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner). Stacey has been a staple on the show since 2004 and is one of the much-loved characters.

On Reddit, one person said: “Stacey, Priya and kill Cindy (she would probably come back and kill me in the end though).” Someone else added: “S*** Stacey, Marry Stacey, Kill Stacey.”
